We partner with Good Shepherd’s No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) to provide a safe loan option of up to $1500 for low-income individuals and families living in the Yarra Ranges.
There’s no interest, fees or charges. You only pay back what you borrow.
NILS loans are offered through community organisations like Inspiro across Australia, with support from Good Shepherd Microfinance, the Australian Government and NAB.
What can you use an NIL loan for? Loans are available for essential goods and services.
These may include:
White goods such as fridges and washing machines
Furniture
Medical and dental services
Course fees
Educational essentials such as computers, uniforms and text books
Car repairs, tyres and registration
