Inspiro’s diabetes education and assessments services offer education and advice to support people managing diabetes. We provide high quality, comprehensive diabetes education to people with diabetes, their families and carers health care professionals at no cost! Our service includes an initial assessment and referral to Inspiro’s Dietitian, Podiatrist and Diabetes Nurse Educator as required.
Our team of health professionals can help you manage:
Diabetes, heart disease and stroke risk
Healthy eating and weight control
Physical activity
Stress management and improving sleep patterns
Goal setting and managing lapses

Integrated Diabetes Education and Assessment Service (IDEAS)
IDEAS is an integrated team care approach to managing Type 2 Diabetes. IDEAS supports people with diabetes to manage their health, reduce the risk of complications and improve health outcomes, by providing access to Eastern Health Endocrinologists with wrap-around community health services at the same time and place.
Our IDEAS clinic is available in Lilydale on Wednesdays.
GP referrals are required to attend our IDEAS clinic.
