Inspiro invests in future health care professionals who have a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing of our community.
Tertiary Health Scholarships
Each year we give a total of $22,500 to students studying an accredited health course who live in the Yarra Ranges.
Tertiary Health Scholarship
Are you a Yarra Ranges resident studying a health-related course? You could receive up to $8,000 in financial help for your studies through Inspiro’s Tertiary Health Scholarships.
About our Scholarships
Inspiro has been investing in future health professionals for over 18 years. Each year, we give away a total of $22,500 to deserving students who demonstrate a genuine heart for their community.
There are three main prize categories:
$8,000 Hamish Russell Award
$6,500 Stephen Potter Award
$2,500 Encouragement Award x 2

Meet our past winners
Who's eligible?
To be eligible for an Inspiro Tertiary Health Scholarship, you must be a resident of the Yarra Ranges Shire undertaking or enrolled to commence:
- Tertiary studies in a recognised health science course at an Australian University or higher education TAFE institute, or
- Vocational Education and Training (VET) in a health science field.
And that’s it!
