We are seeking an enthusiastic and client focused Grade 2 Podiatrist to join our supportive and well-established team, who are renowned for the high calibre of service provided to people within our local Yarra Ranges community.

The position will cover both the Lilydale and Belgrave sites and the hours/days are negotiable.
About the role:
The current podiatry caseload focusses on diabetes assessments, high risk foot management, and biomechanics. The service provides evidence based, high quality, safe, client centred care that meets best practice standards.
The role will offer opportunities to be part of our growth strategy, focussing on an expanded model of chronic care and balancing the more complex caseload with a less complex MBS funded service. While the majority of the caseload focusses on adults, there is also an opportunity to offer paediatric care. A clinical supervision structure is in place to help you grow and develop with informal and peer support also readily available.
Position Responsibilities:
In the role you will join a great Pods team to:
- Provide a person-centred, outcome-focused podiatry service to people from a variety of backgrounds and funding sources
- Plan treatment programs with clients that aim to promote independence, participation and enhanced quality of life
- Actively contribute to a work culture based on curiosity and accountability.
About You:
You will have:
- Relevant podiatry qualifications
- Professional registration with AHPRA
- Clinical expertise in:
- chronic disease management, especially diabetes and vascular disease,
- wound care,
- orthotic prescription and manufacture,
- Sound knowledge in contemporary clinical practice with commitment to maintain and update knowledge
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintain up to date file records and data collection processes.
It would also be advantageous (but not essential) if you had:
- Recent experience as an MBS provider
- Australian Podiatric Association membership
Essential
To be the successful candidate you must:
- meet the position requirements,
- undertake a current Police Record Check,
- hold an Employee Working with Children Check, and
- an NDIS worker clearance check will also be required if you don’t have one currently
- meet the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
