Job Description:
We have a permanent part time (four days per week) Podiatry position working across our Lilydale and Belgrave sites.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and client focused Grade 2 Podiatrist to join our supportive and well-established team, who are renowned for the high calibre of service provided to people within our local Yarra Ranges community.

About the role:
The podiatry service at Inspiro supports clients to maintain their foot health and independence through a mixture of publicly and privately funded work. The podiatry caseload focusses on diabetes assessments, education re foot health and self-care, high risk foot management, nail surgery and biomechanics. The service provides evidence based, high quality, safe, client centred care that meets best practice standards. This salaried position involves some fee for service work in addition to community health.
Position Responsibilities:
In the role you will join a great Pods team to:
- Provide a person-centred, outcome-focused podiatry service to people from a variety of backgrounds and funding sources
- Plan treatment programs with clients that aim to promote independence, participation and enhanced quality of life
- Actively contribute to a work culture based on curiosity and accountability.
About You:
You will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in podiatry
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Australian Podiatric Association membership (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience and clinical expertise in:
- chronic disease management, especially diabetes and vascular disease,
- wound care,
- orthotic prescription and manufacture,
- Sound knowledge of both paediatric and aged care podiatry needs
- Sound knowledge in contemporary clinical practice with commitment to maintain and update knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience working within Chronic Care models
- Demonstrated understanding of various funding models including MBS, NDIS and CHSP
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal skills and IT skills
- Recent experience as an MBS provider (preferred).

To be the successful candidate you must:
- meet the position requirements
- employment is subject to a Police check. Persons who have worked overseas may be required to obtain an international police check
- hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening check
- hold an Employee Working with Children Check valid for employment purposes
- hold Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and ability to drive a range of vehicles as required
- meet the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
