We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join us in a part time, permanent position, four days per week. Ideally you will work two days at our Belgrave site and two days at our Lilydale site.

About the role:
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who wants to work with an experienced and supportive team in community health. This role would suit a health professional who is seeking variety in their caseload, such as musculoskeletal, chronic pain, neurological, aged care and disability (NDIS), as well as someone who takes an empowerment approach, supporting clients to manage their own health wherever possible. The role will provide support for both publicly funded (i.e. CHSP, CH, HACC) and privately funded (i.e. MBS, NDIS, Home Care Package) clients.
The successful candidate will be well supported with clinical and line management supervision and there is an active internal in-service program to promote ongoing development.

Position Responsibilities:
In the role you will:
- Provide high-quality person-centred physiotherapy services to a wide variety of clients
- Develop client care plans which are based on client-centred goals, and coordinate with other allied health and community services to empower clients to meet these goals
- Develop, run, and evaluate group-based programs that support clients to improve control of their own health and encourage integration into the community
- Supervise and support Allied Health Assistants and physiotherapy students
- Provide reports to other providers such as GPs, NDIS Support Coordinators or Aged Care Package case managers to demonstrate the effectiveness of the service in reaching the client/participants’ goals.
About You:
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in physiotherapy and professional registration with AHPRA
- Registration as an MBS provider (or willingness to do so)
- Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable)
- The ability to demonstrate a broad knowledge of physiotherapy management techniques and strategies
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience working within Chronic Care models
- Previous experience with and/or knowledge of NDIS, My Aged Care and other client held revenue packages/sources (highly regarded)
- A sound knowledge of contemporary clinical practice with commitment to maintain and update knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong emotional and cultural intelligence, with the ability to self-reflect
- A collaborative approach and be genuinely committed to working with others to achieve outcomes
- A growth mindset, be genuinely curious and have a willingness to learn new skills.
Essential
To be the successful candidate you must:
- Meet the position requirements
- Undertake a Police Record check. Persons who have worked overseas may be required to obtain an international police check
- Hold a Working with Children’s Check valid for employment purposes
- Hold a NDIS Clearance Check
- Aged Care Compliance: not be listed on the Aged Care Register of Banning Orders; Aged Care Statutory Declaration
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
- Hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence with the ability to drive a range of vehicles if required.
Current funding and legal requirements mean all the relevant checks must be completed prior to starting work at Inspiro.
