We are pleased to announce that the Boards of Access Health and Community (AccessHC) and Inspiro have signed the agreement formalising our merger from 1 May 2025.
Our due diligence has shown that by bringing together our collective expertise and reach we can expand our services, deliver greater impact and innovation for our clients and communities, and create new opportunities for our people to grow and thrive.
To make this process as simple as possible, the merger will occur through a transfer of business from Inspiro to AccessHC. To support an effective integration, representatives from the Yarra Ranges and Inspiro will join the AccessHC Board and Community Advisory Committee. This will ensure that local voices from across our combined service areas are actively involved in governance and decision-making at the highest levels.
We are pleased to announce that Anna Robinson, the current CEO of AccessHC, will lead the merged organisation from May 1, 2025. This decision has been mutually agreed by both CEOs and Boards. Inspiro’s CEO, Sue Sestan, will continue in her role to support a smooth transition to AccessHC and to support Inspiro as it winds up, before stepping down as CEO. This decision reflects Sue’s desire to make more time for her family, travel, and personal reflection.
Having recently completed a thorough due diligence process, we have a clear understanding of the benefits, opportunities and challenges ahead, and we are well-prepared for a successful integration. A dedicated merger team has already been appointed to ensure there is no disruption to our services during this critical period.
Both organisations remain committed to prioritising our clients and our highly valued staff. We will be maintaining services to our clients and ensuring a seamless transition that upholds our shared values, preserves the rich legacies of both organisations, and continues to serve our communities.
We extend our appreciation to the collective AccessHC and Inspiro Executive teams and Boards, whose dedication and collaborative efforts have been crucial in setting us up for success. We are also grateful to the staff of both organisations who continue to show dedication and commitment during these times of change.
Together, we are building a bright future for our organisation and the communities we serve.
